About Agile by Design, c/o Shelisa Bainbridge

Agile by Design, now operating as abd.works, is a professional services consulting firm based in Central London that serves large organizations, including those in the banking, insurance, telecom, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. The firm specializes in building human systems that enable organizations to turn AI investments into value. They focus on creating Human+AI systems of work designed to deliver accelerated value rather than increasing organizational dysfunction. The firm is led by Founder and President Jeff Anderson, a former architect with twenty years of experience in delivery change. He is joined by partners Andrew Larosa, Taimur Mohammad, and Sean Deschamps. The team provides senior-level practitioners who embed directly within client teams to build capability and deliver mission-critical change. The firm describes its approach as being small and senior, avoiding the use of juniors and focusing on an exit criteria where the client's team eventually no longer needs their support. The company's roots date back to 2002, with the team leading delivery inside large organizations before forming Agile by Design in 2015. While the firm has rebranded to abd.works to reflect the evolving challenges of the AI era, it maintains the same discipline and experience. They emphasize that while tools do not transform companies, people do, and they aim to help executives and engineering teams turn ambitious transformation strategies into functional operating models.
