BOOM InterTribal is an Indigenous-owned full-service creative agency located in Southwold, Ontario, on the traditional territory of Deshkan Ziibiing. The agency serves a diverse range of clients, including national brands, Indigenous organizations, and Nations. They provide a variety of professional services, including strategic planning, brand stewardship, marketing communications, digital marketing, traditional marketing, and Indigenous engagement. The agency describes itself as a conduit between two worlds, utilizing a collective lens that combines connections to communities with decades of marketing experience. The business was established by three founding partners who span the spectrum from Indigenous to non-Indigenous. Alana Lees, a member of the Fisher River Cree Nation, serves as Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, bringing over 20 years of brand-building expertise to the firm. Another founding partner, Ray, is an Anishinabe, Ojibway-Bodewatomi of the Loon Clan who brings insights gained through lived experience and a background as a head negotiator for the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation. BOOM InterTribal focuses on co-creating strategic solutions that aim to raise awareness, shift perspectives, and inspire action. Their work includes helping national brands embed Indigenous insights into brand platforms and annual planning, as well as guiding Indigenous organizations in developing visual identities and campaigns rooted in self-determination and cultural identity. Their portfolio features projects for clients such as RBC, TELUS, APTN, TD Canada, Deloitte, and Harley-Davidson.
