The company manufactures a complete line of studding equipment, such as the TSIT-9 stud insertion tool and various stud removal tools. They also manufacture the "Equalizer" truck tire inflation system, which includes 4-station and 5-station models designed to automatically check and equalize pressure in multiple tires simultaneously. Founded by Bruno Wessel in the 1970s in New York State, the company began by repairing air tools before expanding into the import and supply of tire studs. The business grew from a door-to-door operation in the northeast to become North America's largest distributor of tire studs. Following Bruno Wessel's retirement in 1999, the company continued under the leadership of his son, Garry Wessel. The London, Ontario branch, which opened in 1978, is currently managed by Jeff Smith.
