Residents can drop off yard waste, provided branches are less than 10 cm in diameter, and may dispose of tires, electronics, and TVs. The depot also handles fats, cooking oils, and grease in FOG cups, as well as empty oil and antifreeze containers. Specific items like ceramics (toilets and sinks) are accepted for recycling free of charge, while bikes can be dropped off to be repaired by Big Bike Giveaway and Squeaky Wheel Bike Co-Op. For those looking to manage waste at home, the facility offers home composters, digesters, woodchips, compost, and soil/compost mix for purchase. The City of London provides the Recycle Coach App to help residents determine which items are accepted at the depot. While some items like yard waste and blue box recyclables are accepted without a fee, others, such as bagged residential garbage and grass clippings, require a disposal fee. The facility also handles renovation materials, with fees determined by the size of the load. Please note that furniture and mattresses are not accepted at this location.
