The Forest City London Music Awards (FCLMA) is a not-for-profit community organization and regional music incubator located in downtown London on Dundas Street. It serves the local music community by preserving the region's rich musical history, celebrating contemporary music makers, and encouraging a new generation of musicians. The organization curates Canada’s only city-specific Music Hall of Fame and hosts London Music Week, a week-long celebration featuring recognition, mentorship, and performances. The FCLMA offers a variety of programs and services designed to support the careers of both emerging and established musicians. These include instructional seminars, workshops, and educational materials on music industry topics, as well as mentorship opportunities and performance events. The organization also operates FCLMA Radio, a free service that archives and curates Southern Ontario music for entertainment and historical preservation. Additionally, the FCLMA manages the London Music Hall of Fame, where musicians receive the highest distinction of induction. Established nearly 25 years ago, the organization grew from a single awards event in 2002 into a comprehensive music celebration. It was co-founded by Mario Circelli and John B. Young, with early leadership also provided by Grant Stein. The organization is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers and has received a London Heritage Award in 2019 for the conservation of a downtown landmark building that now serves as the home for the Hall of Fame. The FCLMA describes its mission through four pillars: preserve, celebrate, encourage, and support.
