About Gen-Car

Gen-Car is a general contracting and carpentry business located on Elias Street in the Carling neighbourhood of London. The company provides professional construction services to a diverse clientele across southwestern Ontario, handling projects for residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. The company utilizes a staff of professional carpenters and a network of subcontractors to complete various projects of any size. Their work is rooted in professional carpentry, and they aim to provide high standards of workmanship while staying updated on new materials and methods. They describe their approach as being friendly and approachable, making an effort to educate their clients regarding any questions or concerns related to their specific projects. The business was started in 1984 by Peter Ross, who began the company as Gen-Car Installations. Ross chose the name to reflect his background as a professional carpenter, a career path he pursued after studying building construction in high school and completing an apprenticeship with several different companies.
