About Green Valley Recycling

Green Valley Recycling is a professional waste and recycling facility situated on Green Valley Road in the Westminster area of London, Ontario. Serving both individual residents and large corporate clients, the business established itself as the city's first construction and demolition recycling site. It operates on a 15-acre property designed to accommodate various vehicle sizes with dedicated dumping zones for small and large transport. The facility manages a wide array of non-hazardous waste, including renovation debris, drywall, old furniture, roofing materials, and metals. They specifically accept items such as brush, tree stumps, and yard waste, while offering free drop-off for electronics, concrete, and asphalt. Additionally, the business provides a variety of recycled landscaping supplies for commercial and residential use. These products include different types of mulches, wood chips, topsoil, and various stones like crushed clear stone, recycled pea stone, and round stone. Other available materials include recycled asphalt, brick sand, chips and dust, and items from their recycling wall. Since opening in June 2006, the company has focused on environmental management by diverting debris from landfills. They describe their approach as a partnership with construction firms, waste haulers, and debris producers to process materials in a conscientious manner. They also collaborate with innovative companies that transform their recycled commodities into new products. The business is a member of the Ontario Waste Management Association and serves as an Ontario Tire Stewardship (OTS) collector.
