Innovation Works London is a vibrant co-working community space located in the downtown area on King Street. It serves as a community hub for purpose-driven people and organizations, specifically catering to nonprofits, charities, grassroots initiatives, and socially or environmentally conscious businesses. The 40,000 sq-ft facility is owned and operated by Pillar Nonprofit Network, which describes the space as a place for individuals and organizations to connect, collaborate, and work toward meaningful change. The facility offers a variety of workspace and meeting options, including private offices, personal desks, and occasional workspaces. For groups and events, the center provides several specialized rooms such as the BMO Ideas Bank, the Collaboration Station, the Solutions Lab, the RBC Vault, The Cove, and The Studio. These spaces are equipped with amenities like whiteboards, flipcharts, guest wifi, and hybrid meeting technology. Additionally, the center features a fully accessible event space suitable for hosting workshops or fundraisers. Innovation Works is committed to fostering an inclusive environment through its Inclusive Community Events Program. This initiative provides complimentary meeting and event space to equity-denied groups, such as small nonprofits or volunteer-led grassroots initiatives, to support cultural events, workshops, and creative projects. The program was established to honor the contributions of Dharshi Lacey, a former Pillar Nonprofit Network colleague known for her work in equity and justice. The facility features an entrance with a ramp, an elevator, and gender-neutral washrooms on most floors to ensure accessibility. Visitors can book meeting rooms through an online system. While the business operates during standard daytime hours, after-hours bookings require prior arrangement with staff to coordinate key-card pickup. The center also acknowledges the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Lunaapeewak, and expresses a commitment to addressing the inequities connected to colonization.
