About London Language Institute

London Language Institute is an educational services provider and language school located in downtown London, Ontario, on Central Avenue. The institute serves a diverse international student body, having hosted individuals from more than 75 different countries. It offers English as a Second Language (ESL) training for all levels, providing both full-time and part-time options through in-person instruction at its Ontario campus or via an interactive online virtual learning platform. The school provides a wide range of programs, including general English, academic English, and a University/College Pathway program designed to help students transition into higher education in Canada or the USA. Specific course offerings include ESL, TESOL, and Diploma programs, as well as a Diploma in Software and Entrepreneurship. Students can also prepare for specific exams such as IELTS and TOEFL. Additional specialized programs include a Business Program, a TVO/ILC High School program for attaining an Ontario Secondary Schools High School Diploma, and Vacation Programs that combine language learning with Canadian cultural experiences and trips. The institute describes itself as a long-established school that utilizes a proven learning curriculum focused on immersive, task-based learning to build student confidence. It emphasizes interactive activities to develop speaking and writing skills rather than simple memorization. To support international students, the school offers accommodation options where students can stay with a Canadian family. New courses begin every month, and the school uses an English Placement Test to ensure students are placed in the appropriate level of its seven-level curriculum.
