Meadowlily Farm

About Meadowlily Farm

Meadowlily Farm is an agri-food business and hobby farm located in the Meadowlily Woods Nature Preserve in London. Serving the local community and people across the world, this honeybee and duck sanctuary offers all-natural raw unpasteurized honey, food-grade beeswax, and bee pollen. The farm also features handmade jewelry crafts, such as the Her Life’s Work honey and honeycomb necklace and honey earrings, as well as window suncatchers. The farm is home to Ontario Bee Rescue, a not-for-profit organization of over 100 volunteer beekeepers dedicated to the humane removal and relocation of honeybee swarms and established colonies. The business is operated by Bruce and Joanne Richardson, who describe themselves as beekeepers, homesteaders, and guardians of nature. They offer educational programs including beginner and intermediate beekeeping classes held in the spring and early summer. The farm is a member of the Ontario Beekeepers Association and the Middlesex Oxford Elgin Beekeepers Association, and it is registered with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture. Meadowlily Farm emphasizes a commitment to co-existing with nature and protecting pollinators. The business operates with a mission to support the survival of honeybees, and proceeds from honey sales go toward supporting the work of Ontario Bee Rescue. Customers can visit the farm or order products online.
