The business offers a wide range of delivery methods and equipment to accommodate different job site requirements. Their fleet includes redi-mix trucks for standard projects, conveyor trucks with an additional 40-foot reach for sites where trucks cannot get close to the forms, and front discharge trucks with six-wheel drive for muddy terrain. They also provide concrete boom pumps for high or hard-to-reach areas. Additionally, the company operates in-house built volumetric mixers, known as meter mix trucks, which mix raw materials on-site to allow customers to pay only for the amount used. They also provide coloured concrete capabilities through two year-round batch plants. The company has a history spanning several decades, beginning in 1976 when Al Sr. started a small floor placing and finishing company. Recognizing a market for additional services, he founded Meter-Mix Concrete in 1979. The business expanded over the years, leading to the creation of Forest City Redi-Mix in 1993 and Forest City Pumping in 2006.
