The National Centre for Audiology is a research and teaching facility located in the Medway area of London, Ontario, on Western Road. As Canada's largest facility dedicated to hearing, it serves a multidisciplinary community of researchers, students, and clinical partners. The centre is housed within the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University and brings together members from various departments to study the hearing system, its disorders, and the development of beneficial hearing technologies. The centre offers a wide range of academic and research opportunities, including graduate and doctoral programs in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, Engineering, Social Science, and Neuroscience. Students have access to specialized laboratory facilities, precision equipment for sound measurement and delivery, and teleconferencing tools. The facility also provides continuing education and supports undergraduate training through various research assistantships and community outreach programs. Established in 2001 and recognized as a Western research centre in 2004, the National Centre for Audiology describes itself as a collaborative collective.
