Ornge

Ornge is an essential part of Ontario’s health care network, coordinating medical transport for patients who need timely access to care. From its London location, Ornge supports transfers by air and ground, including urgent and emergency trips between health facilities, responses at emergency scenes, and return journeys for patients receiving care away from home. It also arranges non-urgent transportation where distance and local needs make access difficult, and helps connect remote communities with health services through innovative approaches. Additional services include transport in support of organ transplants and authorization coordination through the Provincial Transfer Authorization Centre. By bringing transport and paramedical support together, Ornge helps patients across Ontario reach the care they need.
