About Pierce Sound

Pierce Sound is a professional production company located on Huron St. in South London, Ontario. They provide sound, lighting, staging, and audio-visual equipment and services to the concert, corporate, and special events industries across Canada. The company offers a wide range of production services, including sound reinforcement, lighting design, back line and set design, and full show design through their in-house creative staff. For special events, they provide production design, operations logistics, show coordination, stage management, transportation, power distribution, and labor management. They also specialize in installations, where they set up custom digital and analog controlled audio systems, automated lighting systems, and plasma and projection video systems. Additionally, the business offers repair and manufacturing services, including the construction of custom speaker cabinets, dollies, wood grain racks, equipment cases, and AC distribution systems. The company was founded in the mid-seventies by Ray Pierce, a local guitarist who began by providing sound systems for local bands in the college and bar circuits. The business grew from providing technical services for local blues acts to working with top-name artists in theatres and arenas across Ontario. They have over thirty years of experience in the industry and describe their approach as focusing on proper event planning, system preparation, and attention to detail to build long-lasting relationships with clients. Their repair services are performed by licensed technicians who can often provide same-day on-site repairs for pro-audio and pro-lighting equipment, including a loaner program for amplifiers.
