About POI Business Interiors

POI Business Interiors is a workplace solutions provider located on Queens Ave in the Downtown area of London, Ontario. Serving corporate, education, and healthcare sectors, the company specializes in creating human-centred workspaces designed to support employee well-being, creativity, and productivity. They offer a comprehensive suite of services including office furniture, modular interior construction, audiovisual technology, interior finishing—such as flooring, paint, and window coverings—as well as workplace optimization and relocation services. The company represents over 200 manufacturers and maintains a long-standing partnership as a Steelcase Premier Partner. Their offerings include specific solutions like the Ocular hybrid space solution and various wireless presentations and remote conferencing technologies. A key component of their service model is the LivingLAB, a research environment where the team tests new layouts, technologies, and furniture to collect data-driven insights. These findings are shared with clients through their Insights Magazine to help maximize office space and increase team engagement. POI is a family-led business with a legacy spanning over six decades. Founded in 1953 by Maxwell Scholl as an office supply company, it evolved into a furniture and interior solutions leader in 1958. The business has been led by three generations of the Scholl family: Maxwell Scholl, Gary Scholl, who served as CEO from 1982 to 2020, and the current leader, Jonas Scholl, who took over in 2020. The company has expanded its reach across Ontario and into Winnipeg, providing end-to-end service for complex projects.
