Stag Shop is a specialty retail sex store located on Dundas Street in East London, serving a diverse clientele. The shop aims to provide an open, fun, and inclusive environment where customers are encouraged to explore their sexuality. They offer a wide range of products for all genders and sexual orientations, including sex aids for women, adult toys for men, pleasure enhancers for couples, and LGBTQ+ gear. Their inventory features time-tested items like dildos and butt plugs alongside modern technology-assisted wearable vibrators, specialty equipment for people with physical disabilities, and BDSM gear. Additionally, the store carries bedroom essentials such as lubes, massage oils, sex swings, positioning pillows, and adult DVDs. For customers seeking gender-affirming products, the store provides a specific selection of trans gear for daily living and sexual activity, including binders, breast forms, gaffs, and packers from brands like Coquette, Cal Exotics, and Fleshlight. The shop also maintains a reputation for carrying a variety of Halloween costumes. Customers can browse the selection in a safe environment that includes dressing rooms, or they can shop online with the benefit of discreet billing and packaging. The business provides knowledgeable staff to assist with questions and product comparisons in-store, as well as online support via chat, phone, and email. Canadian-owned and operated, Stag Shop was founded in 1972 by the Horea family. Originally opening in Waterloo, Ontario, as "Stag Novelties' Books," the business has grown from a small shop selling gag gifts and costumes into a large empire with over 30 locations across Canada. The company emphasizes a family-oriented approach to its daily operations, striving to maintain a tasteful and pleasant atmosphere while promoting sex-positive attitudes and sexual well-being.
