About Talbot Animal Hospital

Talbot Animal Hospital is a veterinary clinic located on Oxford Street East in the downtown area of London, Ontario. The practice serves pets and their owners throughout the London area and surrounding regions. The hospital provides a wide range of veterinary services, including wellness care, medical treatments, and surgery. Specific procedures offered include ovariohysterectomies (spays), castrations (neuters), mass removals, gastrointestinal and bladder surgeries, and some orthopedics. Their medical services address conditions such as ear infections, allergies, skin conditions, hormonal diseases, heart disease, kidney disease, and liver disease. The facility is equipped for dentistry with digital x-rays, pain management, therapeutic laser treatments, and hospice and euthanasia services. Additionally, the clinic offers laboratory services—including bloodwork, urine analysis, cytology, and fecal analysis—as well as digital radiology. They also maintain an online store and provide emergency and critical care, offering hospitalization and in-house radiographs and bloodwork when needed. The clinical team is comprised of several professionals, including veterinarians Lori Huerter and Dr. Mohneet Kaur, who are both Fear Free Certified. The support staff includes Registered Veterinary Technicians Aly, Sara, Aimee, Skye, Jessica, and Geraldine, along with receptionists Shona and Katie. The practice emphasizes a Fear Free approach and describes its commitment to helping pets achieve optimal health through thorough examinations, preventive care recommendations, and state-of-the-art testing. Clients can contact the hospital to book appointments or to discuss urgent concerns. While the clinic is open six days a week and leaves openings for emergencies, they note that if a pet requires immediate care that they cannot provide right away, they will refer the owner to the London Regional Veterinary Emergency Clinic.
