The Stiller Centre

The Stiller Centre is a technology incubator at Western Research Park in London, Ontario, supporting start-ups as they develop and bring science-based innovations to market. Since opening in 2002, its 45,000-square-foot facility has fostered connections among researchers, clinicians, industry professionals and entrepreneurs, with a particular emphasis on ventures that rely on laboratory science. Areas of application include drug development, medical devices and imaging, cellular therapies, alternative energy and chemical processing. Companies can choose from wet- and dry-lab spaces, flexible lease options and shared services designed to make early-stage operations more accessible. The on-site Convergence Lab offers 1,600 square feet of subsidized space for start-ups conducting proof-of-principle research, as well as smaller businesses needing temporary laboratory access. Shared amenities include equipped meeting rooms, central warewashing, autoclave facilities, ice and purified-water equipment, and support for shipping and receiving. A backup generator protects critical systems, while a large elevator and loading dock help accommodate equipment deliveries. Card-controlled entry and around-the-clock monitoring provide added security.
