About Vitran Express

Vitran Express is a transportation company located in the Argyle area of London that provides freight moving services for businesses across Canada. The company describes itself as the Canadian leader in Less than a Truckload (LTL) transportation, operating the largest LTL fleet in the country to provide customers with nationwide reach. The company offers a variety of transportation solutions, including National Long Haul, Multimodal, Highway Expedited, and regional services for Eastern and Western Canada. Specific offerings include the MAXX Express team driver service for expedited long-haul freight into and out of western Canada, as well as a heated service fleet designed to protect freight from freezing temperatures during winter. Customers can also utilize the VITRAC system, which provides personalized logins for shipment tracking and other online tools. Vitran Express distinguishes itself through its dual rail partnership with both CN and CP Rail, which the company claims provides a built-in plan for rail delays. Because they own their rail assets, they maintain independent capacity. The business emphasizes its role as a member of TFI International and highlights its commitment to providing regular daily departures, rate stability, and open communication with its clients.
