About Dollarama

Dollarama is a Canadian value retailer located on Glendon Dr in Komoka, serving customers with a wide assortment of general merchandise, consumables, and seasonal items. This location is one of several stores across the region where the company offers a variety of everyday products and national brands at low, fixed price points. Customers can find items available in individual or multiple units, including food products, pet products, and health products. The company was founded by Canadian entrepreneur Larry Rossy, who opened the first Dollarama in Matane, Quebec, in 1992. The business grew from a single store into a large retail chain that is now led by fourth-generation retailer Neil Rossy. Dollarama describes itself as a household name that provides a consistent shopping experience across Canada and into international markets. The retailer emphasizes consumer product safety and provides information regarding manufacturer and regulatory agency recalls for various items, such as pet products and food brands like Hershey's. For added convenience, the business offers same-day delivery through DoorDash and Instacart, with applicable service fees.
