The LTC Downtown Information Office serves as a hub for London Transit, providing information for residents and visitors to navigate the city's transportation system. Located in the Downtown area on Dundas Street, the organization manages the local transportation system for the municipality, including conventional transit and specialized transportation for the physically disabled. The commission offers a variety of resources to help riders plan their trips efficiently. These include route information, schedules, and real-time tracking to locate buses. Riders can access information regarding fare options and the benefits of using a Smart Card. The organization also provides updates on significant detours and stop closures, including real-time detour routing. Additionally, the commission has partnered with the Transit App to provide riders with full access to its features. Other services include information on the Inter Community Transit Service for traveling to London from Southwestern Ontario, as well as programs for Fanshawe and Western students and a Bike and Ride option. The London Transit Commission is a corporate body appointed by the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of London. It is led by Chair Cllr Skylar Franke, with Vice-Chair Cllr Corrine Rahman and Commissioners Cllr Steve Lehman, Mayor Josh Morgan, and Cllr Sam Trosow. The commission operates with a mission to move Londoners progressively, reliably, and affordably. To promote public safety, the commission partners with the London Police Service, which provides Foot Patrol Officers to ride on or walk through city buses in the Downtown, Midtown, and Old East Village areas.
