About Mission Services of London

Mission Services of London is a community charity located in Central London on York Street. The organization serves individuals and families experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and addiction. It describes its work as a commitment to affirming human dignity and inspiring hope by responding to those in need. The organization provides a variety of programs and services, including emergency shelters for men and families, and addiction treatment services. Specific facilities include the Men's Mission, which provides emergency shelter for men, and the Rotholme Family Shelter, which offers emergency housing for families and a shelter diversion program. They also operate the Quintin Warner House as an addiction treatment center for men. Additional services include mental health supports such as crisis intervention, outreach, and court diversion, as well as spiritual care for participants, staff, and volunteers. The Mission Store functions as a social enterprise and donation-based thrift store that operates an Emergency Voucher Program. Established in 1951, Mission Services of London is a multi-sited organization that welcomes clients from all faith backgrounds without discrimination or prejudice. While the organization includes people of various spiritual beliefs and Christian denominations, it is not directly affiliated with any specific group and does not impose faith on its participants or staff. The organization aims to provide a pathway to long-term stability and self-sufficiency through personalized case management and sustainable stability planning. The administration office is open during the week, and the Mission Store offers plenty of free parking.
