About Mission Services of London

Mission Services of London - Rotholme Womens & Family Shelter is a charity located on Stanley Street that serves individuals and families in London experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, or addiction. The organization describes its work as a commitment to affirming human dignity and inspiring hope by addressing immediate needs while working toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency. The Rotholme Family Shelter specifically functions as an emergency shelter for families. It provides a warm environment where residents can find respite and stability. In addition to housing, the organization offers a variety of programs including shelter diversion, mental health supports such as crisis intervention and outreach, and addiction treatment services. Other services provided by the broader organization include spiritual care for participants and staff, personalized case management, and nutritious meals. Founded in 1951, Mission Services of London is a multi-sited organization that welcomes clients from all faith backgrounds without discrimination. While the organization includes members of various Christian denominations, it is not directly affiliated with any specific group and does not impose faith on its participants or staff. The charity also operates the Mission Store, a donation-based thrift store that manages an Emergency Voucher Program.
