About Westview Funeral Chapel

Westview Funeral Home & Cremation Centre is a funeral service provider located on Wonderland Road North in the Proudfoot neighbourhood of London. The business serves the local community by providing funeral services and related functions, including receptions. The facility is designed to ensure privacy for each family during every phase of their time at the home. The funeral home offers a variety of services and amenities, including a spacious chapel, multiple visitation suites, and an on-site reception facility. They provide burial services, which may include visitation, a funeral service, and options for earth burial or entombment in a mausoleum crypt. Families can choose whether to have a casket open or closed and decide on embalming and casket types. Additionally, the business offers live-streaming of memorial services, floral tributes through local florists, and prearrangement services. They describe their offerings as tailored to various budgets, ranging from simple to inclusive options. Opened in March 1997 by Paul and Heidi Needham, the business was sold in December 2024 to Dave Pizzey and Furtney Funeral Homes. It is a proudly independent Canadian business that sources nearly 100% of its products from Canadian manufacturers. The current team includes owner and funeral director Dave Pizzey, general manager and funeral director Jillian Carr, and several other funeral directors, prearrangement funeral directors, and administrative staff. The business provides 24/7 support and assistance for those in need. They invite the community to reach out at any time, day or night, and offer the option to drop by the funeral home in person to discuss needs and concerns.
