John Gordon Home is a supportive housing and palliative care facility located on Pall Mall Street in the PANA neighbourhood of London, Ontario. It serves individuals managing chronic complications from HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C, providing a stable living environment designed to foster positive health outcomes. The facility offers transitional care, supportive housing, and palliative care services. Residents have access to eight fully furnished one-bedroom apartments, each featuring a private bathroom, kitchen, and living area, as well as a respite room with its own private bathroom. The home provides 24/7 on-site staff to deliver nursing care, medication administration, and emergency support. Additional amenities include daily meals tailored to specific dietary requirements, a relaxing lounge, and garden areas. Originally opened in 1992 as a hospice to provide end-of-life care during the early years of the AIDS crisis, the home has evolved to support residents on their path toward living well. While it continues to provide palliative care for those in the end stages of chronic illness, it now frequently serves as a temporary stop for those transitioning to the next phase of their lives. The home is funded by Ontario Health West, the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care: Housing, and the City of London.
